Randy Kovitz joins WOTD 2024

As we shout out those memorable lines from Dawn of the Dead “Anybody got any cigarettes?”, yep you’ve guessed it, RANDY KOVITZ is our first guest to be announced for Weekend of the Dead 2024.

Randy plays the hapless dock cop in DAWN OF THE DEAD desperate for a cigarette and a way out of Philly. He was part of our record breaking show back in 2018 so we’re thrilled to have him be part of it all again. Randy has been a supporter of the show since our humble beginnings in 2015. I’m truly over the moon for Randy to be joining us this year.

Randy of course has two parts within Dawn of the Dead. One as the Doc Cop but also one of the biker gang that gets shot at when David Emge’s character decides it’s ours!!!

Randy also stared in another Romero movie called Knightriders as one of the main characters called Punch. His work spans may years of theatre, TV and movies including “Fault in their stars” and “Mr Harrigans phone” to name but a few, so please show your love and support for our latest guest…Mr Kovitz take a bow.
