Following on from Weekend of the Dead’s 2018 success and a short planned break through 2019 we have now reached the decision that, Feb 29th to 1st March 2020 will now mark our 5th show in Manchester. Manchester was once again decided on as the home of the Dead.
Weekend of the Dead 2020 promises to be another fantastic event. This year marks the 35th anniversary of Day of the Dead. With the very sad news of the passing of Joe Pilato back in March 2019, we will be looking to dedicate the event to his name. With another potentially amazing line up of guests, taking place again in the central location of the Manchester. We will be returning to our original venue The 235 Casino. This is a terrific location, with easy access to parking and public transport. For more information about the venue, please see our FAQ page.
As always you can be guaranteed plenty of opportunities to get to meet your favourite horror stars with signings, photoshoots and Q&A’s, plus our exclusive ticket only VIP Saturday night dinner, where you get to enjoy a meal with the guests, something which was a real highlight of the last 3 shows.
There is also a select group of vendors who will have stalls selling t-shirts, mugs, badges and artwork, plus our own stall with lots of rare autographed merchandise.
We pride ourself on being a really friendly fan run show, so expect to meet lots of like minded people, and make some new friends.
We will be very proud of our guest line up for this year, and from a fan’s point of view, these are not only iconic figures, but also lovely people to meet and interact with.
The photos below are our past 2018 guests. This will change once we start announcing the forthcoming guests so keep your eyes peeled for that.
The Dead are Rising and once again they are Rising in Manchester. See you all in 2020.
